Ride for the "L" of it

29/46 mile ride. The short ride cuts out the steep hills. For everyone, there is an gentle eight-mile downhill finish, which makes for a happy ending to an "L" of a ride.

Oops, ...a gentle eight-mile...

I propose the difficulty of this ride be changed to difficult. Everyone loved it, but, man, it whipped me. There's that climb on Allen Road and also that long climb on Genesee Road out of Sardinia. Sadly, the fun of the downhill finished was tempered by the numerous pot holes on Center Road. There were some spots where they were unavoidable; you just had to pick the smallest one to hit. I kept saying, "My poor bike". It was a nice group on a nice ride.

There was some "entertainment" at our rest stop at the Gulf station in Sardinia. There was some sort of domestic disturbance at the house next to the gas station that required the attention of three big deputies with clubs. Robbie started singing, "Bad boys, bad, boys. Watcha gonna do...." We got out of there before it became too real.

Center was repaved especially for the 2015 edition of this ride.
