I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that I will be absent from our opening day ride at 6:00pm on Wednesday, April 2 from the lot behind the Orchard Park Municipal Building near the intersection of S. Buffalo and E. Quaker.

The good news is that Patrick Danaher will be covering for me, and it is supposed to be a nice evening.

He is doing a ride called "Loveland", which is a location near Ellicott Rd and Benning Rd., among other things.

The distance is about 21.5mi. with a 15mi. option. It is a perfect inaugural route.

Enjoy the first ride of the new season. I'll be playing with my new granddaughter, Kinley, in Raleigh,N.C., but y'all will be in my thoughts.
