Octoberfest Ride

I think the pictures from this ride are beautiful. I think this route is exceptionally difficult. I always find myself completely spent after this ride. It just feels like you never stop climbing. No matter how hard I try, I'm always disappointed with my average. I didn't ride yesterday, but after seeing the averages, it would have been a blood bath for me. Paradoxically, it is also a huge favorite. Such beautiful countryside. I'm glad it's not scheduled on the same day as the Ellicottville Octoberfest. It was a nightmare last year trying to get through that crowd. Props to the intrepid souls who braved the elements and the course yesterday.
