We would like to hold a nice end of season event as we have in other years. But so far we have no Head Honcho for a banquet committee. If this is something you would like to do, be in touch with board members right away. If you would like to help but not be in charge, reach out in the same way. And there's no rule that you need to be female to perform these functions. Guys, I'm telling the truth.
Banquet Volunteers Needed
Still Need Ride Leaders.
We still have a slew of rides in September and October that have no volunteer ride leader. Please take a look at the schedule and see a ride, time, and location that suits you and click on the link to e-mail the ride committee. If everyone took just one ride we would be covered in no time. Remember, ride leaders are the volunteers that make the Niagara Frontier Bicycle Club a club.
Club Picnic Coordinator
We are happy to report that Jo Ann Blatner has agreed to lead the organizing for our club picnic, to be held Sunday, August 27, in Como Lake Park following the morning bike rides. Many more volunteers will be needed to fulfill a variety of tasks and Jo Ann will be reaching out to members to pitch in, but you can also contact to Jo Ann to volunteer. Save the date. We will be back at you with a request to RSVP (the caterer needs to know how many people to prepare for). A full menu of rides will also be available, short and long, hilly and flat, to depart at 9 a.m.
