It's always helpful to get information about changing road conditions -- recently stoned roads, bridges out, distressed pavement, herds of unicorns, whatever you have. And certainly, post this information to Facebook. Our members and other riders will appreciate it. But please send your reconnaissance reports to those individuals responsible for adjusting routes and cue sheets. If you know the ride leader for the ride effected contact them directly. If you don't know who that is please e-mail me at president@nfbc.com or Brenda Fischer at vice-president@nfbc.com. Not everyone keeps up to the minute with Facebook.

We would like to hold a nice end of season event as we have in other years. But so far we have no Head Honcho for a banquet committee. If this is something you would like to do, be in touch with board members right away. If you would like to help but not be in charge, reach out in the same way. And there's no rule that you need to be female to perform these functions. Guys, I'm telling the truth.

We still have a slew of rides in September and October that have no volunteer ride leader. Please take a look at the schedule and see a ride, time, and location that suits you and click on the link to e-mail the ride committee. If everyone took just one ride we would be covered in no time. Remember, ride leaders are the volunteers that make the Niagara Frontier Bicycle Club a club.
